Anambra Begins Compulsory Motor Park Revalidation

The Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Transportation has kicked-off the re-validation of all vehicle parks in the State.

The Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Afam Mbanefo stated this clearly that all Parks (both Private and commercial) in Anambra State must visit the Transport Control and Command Center (TCCC) at the Ministry of Transport to Re-validate their Parks for FREE. This is in line with the administration agenda of His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano to increase ease of transportation and reduce traveling risks on passengers in the State.

Failure to abide by this instructions, the Park will be sealed and other charges will follow. In view of this the Inaugurated Park/Traffic Enforcement Team has started work.

Defaulting parks are first sealed, and if the park persist and refuse to abide by the Government Regulations within the specified time, then the park will be SHUTDOWN.

Some of these regulations includes:
1. Operation approval from Government
2. Proper Clean rest rooms / Clean Environment for travelers to use while in the motor parks
3. Up to Date IGR Payment.
4. Adherence to Traffic Instructions by not loading om the roads or blocking the roads.
5. and others.

All Park operators are encouraged to do the needful.
